When coffee is brewed, the water heats up and causes limescale to form in the tubes of the coffee machine. These gradually become clogged, which slows down the heating process, consumes more energy and can ultimately cause your coffee machine to break down. The JURA Claris Blue filter is designed for the newer types of JURA coffee machines. Please refer to the manual for your coffee machine for information on the type of filter required. But what to do if you don't have a manual? Check the filter you currently have installed in your coffee machine. If it is blue in colour, the JURA Claris Blue filter is suitable for your coffee machine. If it is white, you need a JURA Claris White filter. Another way to identify a given filter is by the filter foot. If you have a hexagonal shaped socket, you need a JURA Claris Blue filter, but if the socket is round, it is a JURA Claris White filter.
